Escape It Grandview Celebrates Our 10 Year Anniversary with A One-Day Central Ohio Treasure Hunt Featuring $5,000 In Cash Prizes.

“Quest for the X” is real life treasure hunt adventure that is challenging, achievable, and built for local teams to complete in one day.

COLUMBUS, OH — June, 25, 2026 — To celebrate its 10^th anniversary, Escape It Grandview is launching Quest for the X, a one-day Central Ohio treasure hunt created to bring the excitement of escape rooms out into the community. Unlike treasure hunts that stretch on for months or become nearly impossible to solve, Quest for The X is designed to be completed during a single live event. The hunt will still challenge teams with clues, puzzles, observation, and strategy, but it is built so that registered participants have a real opportunity to solve the hunt and claim prizes through skill and teamwork.

The event will take place on July 19, 2026, at 1:30 PM and will feature $5,000 in total cash prizes awarded to the top three teams. Participants will follow a series of clues throughout Central Ohio, discover local gems, and compete in a fast-moving adventure designed for families, friends, coworkers, puzzle fans, and escape room enthusiasts.

We wanted to create a community adventure that feels big, exciting, and rewarding, but not impossible. Teams will need to think, communicate, and move quickly, but the goal is for people to have a real shot at completing the hunt and have a great time doing it.”

Team registration is currently open at $80 per team, and all registered teams will receive an Escape It Grandview discount code. Spots are limited, and advance registration is required.
