What Is This?

Quest for the X is our way of celebrating 10 years of business, with you! Escape It Grandview opened its doors for the first time in July of 2016, with only the owner, Rob, running rooms. Since then we have grown to a small but capable staff and added two more rooms for a total of 3 (with one more on the way!)

This Treasure Hunt spans three counties, Franklin, Licking, and Delaware, with fun and interesting places to discover in each! We’ve all had a hand in preparing this Hunt for you, from the puzzles to the website to the graphics, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the fun of the challenge!

How It Works

Quest for the X is designed for everyone to play, from families to experienced hunters! We are a small local company who prides ourselves on the art of having fun, and we wanted this to be no different. 

One person from your team will sign up here on the website and purchase your spot, you will then receive a confirmation email (make sure to check your spam and trash!). Follow the instructions in the confirmation email to finish setting up your account. Make sure that everyone in your party has a waiver filled out, including minors, and that you have read all of our Official Rules. You WILL NOT be able to claim your prize if you are missing waivers!

On the day of the hunt you will log in using the credentials you created from your confirmation email. Once the countdown timer is finished the hunt will begin and you will receive your riddles! Working together (or alone!) you’ll go through all of the puzzles riddles and hints on your Quest for the X.

What To Bring

Must Haves:

  1. Water & Snacks – Hunt runs mid July, it will be hot. We want you to be safe
  2. Your sense of adventure and an open mind!
  3. Internet and GPS enabled smart phone 
  4. Comfortable Close Toed footwear – there will be plenty of walking involved
  5. Weather-appropriate clothing – hunt runs rain or shine

Recommended items:

  1. Writing tool – a pen or pencil to write down puzzles clues and answers
  2. Notebook – to write all your stuff in
